Rachel, thank you for stopping by to talk about your story in our charity anthology. For those who don’t know, all proceeds of Eat Your Heart Out will go to The Hunger Project!

Here’s the blurb:

She tried to forget him…

…and his wicked tongue.

Why did she have to fall for a celebrity? She was a home body not a groupie. Her parents would never approve.

What did it matter? He probably didn’t even remember her. They spent one night together—a year ago.

But he’s back was in town. It’s going to get steamy. Will Amy get the chance to toss Drew aka mega pop star one more time?

Find out…This rom-com will keep flicking from page to page until you get to the finish.

And now to the interview:

1. How did your individual cover inspire your story?
As soon as I saw the cover Drew Walton – a secondary character from Book 2 – HeartBreaker Next Door in my Steam and Giggles series, yelled that’s the cover for my story. Mind you, I haven’t written book 2 yet but the characters are very much alive and patiently waiting for me to pen the story. However, Drew couldn’t wait and so I pulled an all nighter and His Cabbage Tosser written.

2. What would the ‘heat level’ be in your story?  Should it come with a warning label?
Heat level: Steamy – there is swearing and sex on the page.

Skye MacKinnon: “A sweet yet sexy story about an unlikely couple brought together by their shared love of cabbage.”

3. Can you tell us a little about the characters in your story?  Are they meeting for the first time or is this related to a series?
As I mentioned earlier, His Cabbage Tosser is part of a series – Steam & Giggles.

This short quick read will be the first-time readers will get a glimpse into the close, tight knit group of friends that make up my Steam & Giggles world. Neither Amy or Drew, were content on being secondary characters. Both are excited to have their HEA told first.

4. What was your favorite part about writing this story?
I’m what authors call a pantser. That means, I’m 100% dependent on my characters telling me what to write and I’m always surprised by the events they have me pen. I especially enjoyed Amy since like me she is Chinese raised in a western environment.

5. Is this your first time participating in an anthology?  What are some of the best things about being in an anthology?
To date, I’ve only participated in one other anthology. The proceeds from that were donated to Breast Cancer Research. The best thing about the anthologies I’ve participated in is that we are raising money for causes I whole heartedly support.

6. What genres do you write in?  If more than one, do you have a favorite?
I write historical romance – Regency under Rachel Ann Smith, and Contemporary under Rachel A. Smith. Asking me if I have a favorite is like asking me to pick which of my kids I love more. I love them both.

7. Where can we find out more about you and your books?
