What’s new

In May…

Back to work on Robin and Jamie!  Books 1-12 are now available in one e-book and Book 13 was just released.  Busy working on Book 14 right now.  This is a “You Decide” fairytale, where each book is actually like a chapter.  I hope you enjoy it!

In April….

I tried Kindle Scout for the first time.  While I learned a lot, I did not have my book accepted, but I did get a LOT of downloads (700 in the first five days) so thank you all very much!  It’s a paranormal romance, but also a murder mystery.  I hope you enjoy it!

In March…

Spring Garden 2011 005

This picture is unrealistic, because we probably won’t have apple blossoms until May…but I’m tired of looking at snow! LOL  Just finished my first paranormal romance and I realize this is going to be a series of three books.

Abigail and I are working on Burrows Bay, but it will probably not be released for a few months.  With the weather, it’s been difficult to get together (she’s on one side of the state and I’m on the other…with a mountain range between us) but we should have the book ready this summer.

In February…

Still snowing, but occasionally some blue sky!  So pretty this time of year, but so cold!!!

I’ve been working on a new book…a paranormal romance, which I’m hoping to finish by the end of the month.  If I do, I’ll submit it on Kindle Scout and hope you’ll read the first 20 pages or so.  It’s a lot of fun writing this type of story and I hope you all enjoy it!

As soon as I finish this book, Abigail and I will be back to work on The Magic of Burrows Bay Book 3.  Gabbi and Moira are a little like ourselves, so it’s a lot of fun writing these books together. 🙂

In January…

January saw a LOT of snow and ice, so most of the time, I spent inside writing!  Dare to Cross the Water (the complete story) is finally finished and so are Robin and Jamie Books 9-11.  More on that series will hopefully be available in March.

Meanwhile, stay warm, curl up with a large cup of tea and enjoy the view out the window!  And of course, read a good book.

In December…

December is a busy month!  Working on the second part of Dare to Cross the Water and the next installment of Robin and Jamie.  Abigail and I are also hoping to get the third book of the Burrows Bay series finished this month.  Early January, at the latest…so be sure to check my author page to see when new books are available!

All of our books will be available for $2.99 from now until Christmas.  Enjoy! 🙂

In November…

Our new Adult Romance book, “The Magic of Burrows Bay” will be available for $3.99 through the month of November.  Abigail and I hope you enjoy the first book in our series and we plan to have the second one finished by the end of the month.

If you read the book and enjoy it, please go on Amazon.com and let others know.  We hope to have enough good reviews to generate interest for Christmas!  May you all have a wonderful holiday season 🙂

In October…

First, all non-fiction books will be 99 cents for the month of October!  Find out about World War II in the Battle of Britain or ride an electric train through the Washington Palouse.

As for Scottish romance and fairytale updates…it will be a few weeks, before any new work is done on these.  All my time is going to finish a magical romance, especially for Halloween.  My friend Abigail McKee and I are writing a book together and we’re having so much fun!  I hope you enjoy reading it as much as we’re enjoying writing it.  The first of three books will be done before the end of the month.  Then back to Scotland, as well as the snow covered cliffs in Robin and Jamie 🙂

In September…

More fall garden pictures 2011 001.JPG

All romance books will be 99 cents! That’s right, less than a dollar and you can enjoy a romance from the 19th century.  When men wore puffy shirts and sent brooding looks to women in long dresses.

FREE book promotion on Friday, September 16th for Robin and Jamie 1-8.  This is a fairytale, where the reader decides the gender of the main characters!  Action, adventure, magic and even romance…enjoy the “look inside” section below, right now 🙂

I did not finish the second part of Dare To Cross The Water, but I have finished my grant paperwork!  Now, off to work on Dare To Cross The Water: The North Shore.  Very excited to get back to Scotland.

In August…

The new Robin and Jamie “You Decide” Fairytale Books 6 and 7 are now finished and Book 8 will be available very soon.  And the second book in the Railway Romance Series, Dare To Cross The Water: The North Shore will (hopefully) be finished by the end of this month.

I will try to get these published as soon as possible, but I am in the midst of applying for the Gar LaSalle Storyteller Award in Fiction.  If you are interested, find out more below.  The deadline is September 12, 2016.
